C'est Jeanne Rental Terms
By placing a loan or rental order with C’est Jeanne, the renter acknowledges that they have read and agree to the following terms.
1. Ownership
All gloves and accessories remain the exclusive property of C’est Jeanne at all times. The renter acquires no ownership rights in the rented items.
2. Purpose of Use
The items are provided solely for the purpose stated at checkout. Any significant change to the intended use must be communicated to and approved by C’est Jeanne in writing.
The renter may not lend, sublet, or otherwise transfer the items to any third party without prior written consent from C’est Jeanne.
The event date, return date, purpose of use, and contact information provided when adding the rented items to the cart shall form an integral part of the agreement.
3. Event Date and Return Period
The event date and intended return date must be provided at checkout and form an integral part of the agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all items must be returned no later than one week following the event date provided at checkout.
Any extension to the rental period must be approved by C’est Jeanne in writing.
C’est Jeanne reserves the right to request immediate return of the rented items in the event of misuse, negligence, breach of these terms, or other circumstances reasonably requiring their return.
4. Shipping
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the renter is responsible for arranging and providing prepaid shipping labels for both delivery and return.
All shipments must be insured, trackable, and properly packaged.
The renter shall inspect the rented items upon receipt and notify C’est Jeanne within 24 hours of any defects, damage, or discrepancies. Failure to do so shall constitute acceptance that the items were received in good condition.
The renter remains responsible for the rented items until they have been safely received and inspected by C’est Jeanne.
The renter shall be responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, levies, or administrative fees arising from the receipt, use, or return of the rented items.
5. Care and Handling
The renter agrees to treat all items with due care and to use them only in a manner consistent with their intended purpose.
Without prior written consent from C’est Jeanne, the rented items may not be:
Altered, repaired, or modified;
Washed or professionally cleaned;
Dyed or otherwise treated;
Exposed to excessive moisture, dirt, paint, self-tanner, harsh chemicals, or other conditions likely to cause damage.
6. Loss, Damage, and Replacement Value
The renter accepts responsibility for any loss, theft, damage, alteration, or wear beyond normal and reasonable use occurring during the rental period. Upon return, all items will be inspected by C'est Jeanne.
Any damage or excessive wear identified during inspection may result in repair, restoration, or replacement charges.
Where damage is repairable, the renter shall be responsible for all reasonable costs associated with restoring the item to its original condition.
In the event that an item is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair, the renter shall be liable for the replacement value of the item as stated on the relevant product page and/or order confirmation.
The renter acknowledges that the applicable replacement value for each rented item is stated on the relevant product page and/or order confirmation. C'est Jeanne reserves the right to determine whether repair, restoration, or replacement is necessary.
7. Late Returns
All items must be returned no later than one week following the event date provided at checkout, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Should the renter require additional time, they are kindly requested to notify C'est Jeanne as soon as possible.
If rented items are not returned within the agreed period and no prior arrangements have been made, C'est Jeanne reserves the right to charge reasonable late fees and recover any losses or costs resulting from the delay. A late fee of up to €25 per calendar day may apply.
In the event that rented items are not returned and reasonable efforts to contact the renter have been unsuccessful, C'est Jeanne reserves the right to consider the items lost and recover the applicable replacement value.
8. Cancellations and Changes
Any cancellations or changes to an order must be communicated via email.
C’est Jeanne reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate a loan or rental agreement at its discretion.

10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to the rented items, including designs, concepts, and associated materials, remain the exclusive property of C’est Jeanne.
The renter may not reproduce, copy, commercially exploit, or otherwise use the designs beyond the agreed purpose without prior written consent.
11. Exceptions
Any exceptions to these terms, including extended loan periods, alternative shipping arrangements, or other special agreements, must be confirmed in writing by C’est Jeanne.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
13. Acceptance
By placing an order, the renter enters into a binding agreement with C’est Jeanne and acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Loan & Rental Terms.
